Our Mission
To provide a center for the arts that promotes education and community involvement in the arts
In the heart of the 20th century, a group with a passion for the arts and the beauty of the Hill Country brought to life the Hill Country Arts Foundation (HCAF). This visionary entity, now celebrating its 65th year, is a hub for artistic education, exhibitions, and performances.
The Smith-Ritch Point Theatre, a 520-seat outdoor amphitheater, hosts enchanting performances with the Guadalupe River as its backdrop. As seasons change, the magic moves indoors to the intimate Elizabeth Huth Coates Theatre.
Creekside studios are alive with artists teaching and learning, while the Duncan-McAshan Gallery showcases a spectrum of exhibitions, from local works to national juried shows.
In 2024, we celebrated our 65th anniversary with a myriad of programs, drawing thousands to participate in classes, auditions, volunteering, and more. Now, HCAF needs your commitment through membership to sustain and strengthen our future. Join us in illuminating the world with the arts.
